Full-Stack Developer
  • Reconstructed the public-facing enterprise platform by migrating architecture to optimized Next.js and Astro.js frameworks, implementing ServerSide Rendering (SSR) to achieve top-tier SEO performance and eliminate Time-to-Interactive (TTI) bottlenecks.
  • Built and maintained backend REST APIs with Express.js, backed by MongoDB for flexible property data management.
  • Built and maintained a secure internal administration dashboard leveraging React and React Admin, enabling operational teams to handle complex real-time data orchestration and business logic.
  • Conducted analytical user-flow profiling to eliminate client-side performance drag, utilizing code-splitting and lazy loading to cut average page load times in half.

Check out my latest work

A mix of professional work, 42 School projects, and personal builds. Some taught me more than others.

Ft_Transcendence

The final project at 42 School โ€” a real-time multiplayer Pong game that had to handle user authentication, private messaging, and channel-based chat at the same time. I led the frontend architecture. At peak we were running 20+ concurrent users over WebSockets without it falling over, which was the real test.

Inception-of-Things

A multi-stage DevOps project to actually understand Kubernetes from the ground up. Three stages: K3s on Vagrant-managed VMs, then K3d, then wiring up Argo CD for GitOps so every push to the repo triggered an automatic deployment. The kind of project where you spend a day debugging a YAML indentation and learn more than any tutorial could teach.

WebServ

An HTTP/1.1 web server written in C++ from scratch. No frameworks, no shortcuts โ€” non-blocking I/O with select/poll, custom request routing, and CGI support. The goal was to get it to behave correctly under concurrent load and pass the same test suite we used against Nginx. Really clarified how HTTP and concurrency work at a low level.

Marben's Portfolio

This portfolio, built as a full-stack app with a CMS-backed admin panel so I can update content without touching the code or redeploying. Deployed on Vercel with sub-second load times. Simple goal: fast, clean, and easy to maintain.
